While there is much great research happening involving curcumin and we acknowledge that it is a really valuable component of turmeric, the latest research into curcumin and turmeric is showing that the other constituents in turmeric are actually really important as well. From a food-as-medicine perspective, we prefer turmeric because extracting curcumin is a very allopathic/reductionist view of natural medicines and the evidence is beginning to suggest that the synergy of all the nutrients in turmeric make it the powerhouse that it is. We truly believe that Mother Nature knows what she’s doing.
How much turmeric?
The input of Turmeric extract in your product is 150mg which is derived from 3g (3000mg) of dried turmeric.
How much curcumin?
The Turmeric in Golden Grind Turmeric capsules is equivalent to 65% curcuminoids which is 97.5mg curcumin per capsule. The dried rhizomes of Turmeric typically contain 3-5 % of curcuminoids, so the extract that we have chosen still packs a valuable curmumin punch but with the added benefit of the other components of Turmeric still being in the extract.
Why Golden Grind Turmeric Capsules?
The perfect amount of piper nigrum (black pepper) is added to make sure the turmeric is most bio-available. Also, this product is 100% vegan.
What are they made from?
Golden Grind Golden Grind Turmeric capsules are made from a natural, hard-shelled vegetable cellulose.
Begin with 1 capsule per day, taken with a meal or drink (as turmeric is best absorbed with fats). If you are comfortable with this amount and experience no side effects you can take up to 2 capsules per day, or as directed by your healthcare professional. If symptoms persist, consult your healthcare practitioner.
