This chocolate cake mix contains organic coconut sugar, high-fibre protein-rich organic coconut flour, rice and tapioca flours, unrefined Celtic sea salt and organic raw fair trade cacao. It is a dynamic combination of nutritional ingredients that will keep you satisfied and happy. The organic raw cacao has one of the highest antioxidant values in any food source, four times as much as Goji berries!
The organic raw cacao comes from an heirloom variety of Criollo Amazonico grown in the Peruvian Amazon and boasts a very high ORAC (Oxygen Radical Absorbance Capacity) score.
We don’t use commercial baking powder but use baking soda as an aluminium free raising agent. You also won’t find any corn, soy or any numbers in our mix.
Naturally gluten-free, grain-free and dairy free (when prepared with coconut oil).
Ingredients: Coconut sugar, organic coconut flour, rice flour, tapioca flour, organic raw fair trade cacao, baking soda, unrefined Celtic sea salt, aluminium-free baking soda.
You only need to add the following: eggs, coconut oil (or butter if not dairy free) and water.
Makes: ONE round cake (22cm)
Cooking Time: 30-35 minutes in preheated oven.
