May Assist With:

  • Poor digestive function
  • Constipation
  • Promoting a healthy intestinal ecosystem
  • Supporting the gut's delicate microbiome

Guar Gum is extracted from guar beans from the Cyamopsis tetragonolobus plant. PHGG is obtained by the controlled partial enzymatic hydrolysis of Guar Gum.

Prebiotics assist to stimulate the growth and/or the activity of beneficial bacteria in the colon and may improve digestive health. The main prebiotic starch found in Guar Gum is glucomannan. The bacteria in your colon will ferment glucomannan into intestinal fuel called short-chain fatty acids (SCFAs). These SCFAs provide wide-reaching benefits for gut and immune health.

Also a popular choice for those choosing to be on a Keto, Low Carb or Paleo Diet, as the resistant starch in PHGG supports the gut microbiome due to promoting growth of beneficial bacteria in the small intestine.
